Abstract
• 6 voltage ranges provide a total setting range of 5 V to 480 V
- Excellent resetting ratios:
97 % for operation on overvoltage
<::;103 % for operation on undervoltage
- High continuous-overload capacity
- The operate value for the overvoltage re lay changes maximum 3 % within the range 45-500 Hz
• Insensitive to stray magnetic fields

APPLICATION :
The RXEG 2f 'is a general purpose instanta neous voltage relay which can be used in both overvoltage and undervoltage protection schemes. Depending on the additional relays and modules with which it is used, the RXEG 21 can be applied in many ways:

Neutral-point voltage detection
For power systems which are not solidly ground ed
Automatic selection of neutral-point voltage
For the detection of neutral voltage from either of 2 three-phase sources and automatic transfer ence of this quantity to the as80ciated protective relay
Flashover protection
For transformers on low voltage systems which
- are not solidly The relay operates on the occurrence of a flashover from the high to low voltage side
Overvoltage protection
To detect excessive voltage rise on transmissic lines, usually 400 kV-800 kV systems. The relc would typically be time-delayed to prevent ur necessary tripping for voltage rises of short du ation. The relay can also be used for generat< overvoltage protection. The high reset value is 1 particular value in these applications
Undervoltage protection
For motors, single-phase for less important ir duction motors and three-phase positive s1 quence for synchronous or important inductic motors. For these motors, a voltage proportion to the positive sequence component of tr three-phase voltage would be supplied RXEG 21 by a RXTBEA 2 filter
